Seems like the better teams are raising their game now. It's true in sport sometimes your level depends on the opposition i.e. the better the opposition the better your level, the ****ter the level the ****ter your performance. There is a lot of truth in this in my experience playing sport. Of course teams are getting more cohesive now as well now they've played a bunch of competitive matches together and the coaches have an idea of what works on the pitch
