For the second day in a row an unjust penalty was saved: the corner Austria took in the build-up to the penalty was taken from outside the quarter circle, yet the ref (who was pretty bloody poor, it has to be said) let play go on.

From my Croatia contact : the guy said to the local press that he was told by Modric that Ramos will go to the right.

Safe to say that the decision NOT to give a penalty didn't go down well. But there again it was one of the most blatant ever.
Expect a soft pen at the other end or similar.... Can't have a defeat for one of the UEFA darlings, now can we?
Platini may be gone, but the corruption continues..... <laugh>

Poorest refereeing performance so far. He has fallen for every Italian trick.
