    Spain are frustratingly good.

    Shame they're boring to watch.

2nd half is pretty boring to be honest. Spain have killed Italy off and go on to dominate.

    Spain win euro 2012

Fernando Torres wins the golden boot

Well done to the 6 who predicted Spain to win

Shame on the rest of us for backing someone else. Spains class was there for all to see

Good point, refereeing at this tournament has been excellent and just goes to show having mickey mouse nations referees at the world cup just doesn't work! Take note FIFA!

Pirlo and Buffon have handled themselves with class and dignity while Balotelli has been a pathetic loser again. Storming off after full time despite a coach trying to keep him on. He did come back out though but he really needs a long look in the mirror. He is a very talented player but nowhere near as good as he thinks he is

    They looked better today.

Jordi Alba is sensational, Spain barely had a left back for the last world cup.

I'd also say that Silva and Fabregas have gelled into the side and Ramos has made a quality centre half.

wc 2010 final: casillas, ramos, pique, puyol, capdelvila, busquets, alonso, xavi, iniesta, pedro, villa.

euro 2012 line up: casillas, arbeloa, pique, ramos, alba, busquets, alonso, xavi, iniesta, silva, fabregas.

in the wc the puyol was a complete rock (younger) and pique was in better form. Xavi was better and was electric. But euro squad had a better LB, Busquets was better, and Silva was sheer class and better than Pedro.

The official team of the Tournament

Buffon Casillas Neuer Pique Coentrao Lahm Pepe Ramos Alba De Rossi Gerrard Xavi Iniesta Khedira Busquets Ozil Pirlo Alonso Balotelli Fabregas Ronaldo Imbrahimovic Silva

God knows why they have listed 3 keepers

Steven Gerrard gets in which is a surprise considering how much they hate the English
