England are frankly boring to watch, and are generally underwhelming. Maybe if a new manager adds some flair and passion to the team I might take a bit more notice but for now I'll only watch England if there isn't anything else on - the past few games I've chosen to watch Germany on ESPN over England.

But like others have said, if a Newcastle player gets picked I would watch it purely to see how they perform, like I watched Sameobi in the U21 game recently.

I guess a lack of patriotism contributes to it too.

Hope Krul impresses enough to become a Dutch starter by the time the Euros come around.

I know Stekelenburg is amazing but if we finish in the top eight with more performances like the one against Man U for Krul, Marwijk will have to at least consider it.
Forgetting the fact Krul has age on his side and plays in an (arguably) tougher league.

Wouldn't get my hopes up though.

The thing I hate with our players being in these big competitions is if they play well the big clubs will be sniffing around.

Who is really gonna be in it though?

Cabaye is the only current first-teamer in a Euro 2012 team, as far as I can recall.

There's Krul, but by then he may be second fiddle to Stekelenburg again.

Santon is currently in the U21's for Italy, but it's debatable whether he will be in the first team by next year.

Ben Arfa may have broken his way into the French side again, but that's also not set in stone for next summer.

All the rest, Tiote, Jonas, Ba and so on are in teams not in it.

He clearly had an affair with Trappatoni's missus or summat, the guy hates him.

England have dodged a bullet there, however with Capello in charge I feel we will always under achieve!

The facts are that he picked Doyle even when he was definitely injured, continues to pick Keane, and specifically said that Best didn't "try hard enough".

Maybe he's coming around, but certainly Best was in great form and he passed him over.

Hilarious they English arrogance starts again. France are easily as good, Sweden always match us, Ukraine are at home. I'm not being funny but we must seem so ****ing stupid.
