I got all exited thinking England had another decent player at its disposal, so I had a quick look on the Welsh FA site and Joe Allen is the first player listed in their first team! Unless it's a different Joe Allen but I doubt it.
I'm sure that if Roy wanted Foster at the finals he'd be up for it. I can understand very easily why he didn't want to warm the bench under Capello.
We are well and truly ****ed if the best we can do as back up for Hart is taking Ben Foster! He is fecking useless! I would rather have David Stockdale as back up glovesman! Thank god we have Joe Hart who is imo the bst Goal keeper in the world atm.

seriously, can totally understand why many can't see the point in taking holt, but only if we are considering taking a young team who can learn on the job. however, it would be a mistake to not give him a chance in the upcoming friendlies - he is getting better and better - totally terrorised arsenal on saturday, they simply couldn't cope with him. he made them look awful at times and ok, we know they aren't world beaters but then how many defences at the euros will be? on saturday's evidence he should be a shoe-in.
