Pretty much all the things the Remain 'scare mongers' were saying are staring to appear. It was obvious there would be some turbulance, but while the Brexits start to admit that some of what they offered was, let's be kind, regretable and a mistake, the stuff the experts were saying is starting to happen. What was that phrase Gove offered about 'let's forget about experts for a minute'. Classic!

From what i've seen so far...

Cameron resigns like a pig in the trough when he should be supporting the job he was elected to do
Corbyn's party is in turmoil after going hand in hand with the conservatives in attempt to maintain the EU status quo and Establishment.
The media in it's entirety is doing as much negative news reporting as possible post Brexit and people suck it up like the plague.
The IN campaign are more interested in playing some board game where they think they can keep playing until they win.
Heseltine is banging on about letting Brexit get on with it rather than supporting the democratic vote of 17 million people.
Scotland had the chance to go independent and said NO.
    N. Ireland has a choice and can go join the Republic after years of our troops putting their lives on the line for their own democratic decisions.
Let's tar all OUT supporters with being, stupid, racist and Farage supporters.

When what it comes down to is a democratic vote was cast and we ALL need to knuckle down as a nation rather than thinking of our own selfish interests and the Establishment once again trying to regain dominance on the back of IN complainers.

17 million people said OUT, so whether you are conservative, labour, or media keep this country on it's feet instead of bickering and delaying things with a possible General Election.

    Get Article 50 dealt.

I'll be waiting a couple of years to see if the country made the right decision. In what sort of ways should this country have improved by then?

Exactly my train of thought. Any celebrations are premature as it stands.

Who's celebrating...it's a long difficult journey ahead. It was never about one's self interest or materialistic givings. We seemed to have developed a society more interested in economic wealth and selfish greed and interest rather than one that was an open democracy in place of Establishment rule and ownership of the people. You only have to look at the media reporting to see the establisments hold on society.

Jean-Claude Junker, I'm really not sure what to make of his speech on one hand he is saying the British are still their friends on the other hand he is saying he has blocked all member states presidents from communicating with us and demands to know what we want as soon as possible, also states there will be consequences.

He reminds me somehow of Sepp Blatter. Cameron actively opposed his election and lobbied hard to stop him, since he was such a strong federalist. I don't think he's forgotten.

I have sat in countless meetings with a lot of faceless bureaucrats like Juncker over the years, and their political ethos is simple:

    Fear of the Germans.

If you came from a country about the size of Slough, and with as much cultural and economic impact, you would feel the same.

Hollande is proving all over again, just like Chirac, de Gaulle, Up Yours Delors etc did before him, that a hatred of the English is hardwired into the DNA of the French. They have never recovered their national pride from events between 1939-45, and this hatred and self loathing still informs all of their political decisions.

The Germans are a sly and swarthy bunch - in fact one of the best bits of advice I was ever given on leaving University and embarking on my career was "never trust a German" <cheers>- there is absolutely no doubt that the EU is their political project to complete the work that their predecessors started rather more aggressively 70 years ago. It is the natural mentality of the Hun to want to dominate and bully what they (correctly) see as their smaller, inferior neighbours.

Personally I greatly admire distinct traits in the German national DNA, but we have always resisted them in the past, and thankfully did so again last week.

Only a handful applaud Farage, but I reckon many of the EU parliamentarians secretly admire him.

I work with quite a few Germans and many of them are very lovely people. Went on many dates with one, and was a lovely individual. Lets keep away from sweeping generalisations!

Corbyn really is hanging on. The Corbynistas will be responsible for the end of the Labour Party if they vote him
The trouble with Germans is that they work bloody hard, and make quality goods.

The ones that I work with do @ForestHillBilly. She was quality at some other things too. Ahhhhh! I'm now reminiscing about them times. Summers, the beers, holding hands and good laughs.

    **** IT! That's it, I'm in a mood now.

Germans are great. I have a couple of exgirlfriends from Germany back in my dodgy past. You won't get me to say a word against them. If you pushed me, I'd say they were the most similar people in the world to the Brits.
    But better at football...

The Premier League could learn a lot from the Bundislega if they weren't so obsessed with money. A matter of priorities I suppose.

It's very sad to hear about poles getting abused now and told to go back home. When FHB jr was in primary school I ran the chess club for 4 years as a contribution to the school. There was one Polish lad in the class, and his parents were always very grateful for what I was doing. When I stopped doing it they gave me a bottle of Polish vodka for my voluntary efforts. I really appreciated this, and none of the other parents showed the same gratitude.

Did some of you enjoy Nigel's jibe about EMP's never having done a proper job? It was quite a good insult. Shame he has the same relationship with the truth as our CEO. 13 of the 14 EMP's who spoke had a previous career outside politics, but never mind, it's all about soundbites.
