The EU would be given free access to the UK single market.

So you think that the EU that is worth £11.2 trillion (GDP) will agree to parity with the UK that is worth £2.1 trillion (GDP), without their key condition of free movement ?

..and then all those leave voters who discover that they can't stop all the nasty foreigners coming without completely screwing the economy, are not going to happy!...

I don't think Tobes is a million miles away from dousing himself with petrol and setting himself alight in front of the house of commons. He will be remembered as the English equivalent of that monk from all those years ago.

If we did manage to get border control, there's every likelihood immigration would increase, as we currently restrict over 90% of the world. Being non-European, they're liable to be dark skinned too.
That's pretty much understood by most people, and dampens the remainian argument more than a tad.

But we brexiters are all racist, so we are told by racists

Then why ask such a stupid ****ing question then?

Why all the unwarranted aggression and tears?

The thread has included a number of references to abuse and market volatility for small businesses - I'm guessing your mate isn't the company director of Benelux? Given you're just Tobes and he's your friend I'd assume it's a small company that maybe affected by Brexit.

That's why I asked.

To be quite honest, I'm a bit bored of this **** now.

There were aspects of being in the Eu I didn't like. The freedom of movement wasn't one of them. The red tape to business I didn't like. The massive federal state, I didn't like, the prospect for an eu army I didn't like.

The likelihood is we will get the trade deal we want. At the expense of free movement of people. We are likely to have a health service agreement. So I don't get ripped off when I fall over drunk in magaluf. We will end up paying probably the same as we were before but to some degree we are not being dictated to by the French and Germans. We will not have to help bail out Greece, Italy and France when their economies bomb (though I expect these to happen whilst we are still members) We will more than likely make benefits harder to come by. Aimed at Johnny Foreigner but used against our own feckless workshy ****ers.

All in all the xenophobic twats who forced this on us will be worse off in the long run. I will be fine. Therefore I've accepted it and am now happily waiting for the repurcussions to effect the people that voted for it far more than they will me.
