No. I don't need to. There's plenty on here saying the right things. I've been an observer on this thread because I've been objective about this whole debate. I can't help but see it for what it is.....Brexiters on thin ground, Brexiters making excuses for their shallow arguments, Brexiters hiding behind smart arse meme's that suggest its all about winning the argument and nothing to do with what is right. Then eventually a few Brexiters claiming that they are on the wind up. Surely you should have pulled them up for turning this debate into a mockery since your above quote suggests that you don't like an important topic being belittled?

I'm not a 'brexiter' as some lazily try to paint things, I've a very open mind to the views, as I think it's such an important decision, I want to be as informed as I can.

I've hunted out comments from both sides.
Lately I've particularly hunted out reasons to remain, because I find myself leaning towards a leave vote. I've seen the argument you keep offering several times, and each time it's been found wanting when looked at in more detail, so as a single issue, it doesn't sway me to staying. It just seems to result in diversionary comments from spurlock equivalents.

I've seen precious little of substance that would encourage me to vote to remain, but I keep looking.

Why?

We work perfectly well with the Americans (our biggest partners when it comes to sharing information) and Australia and other countries around the world and we would continue to work with EU countries in regards to counter terrorism if we were to leave the EU. It will make no difference whatsoever to how safe we are as a nation whether we pull out or not.

And the idea that we will have no security for 10 years and as such be vulnerable to ISIS is scaremongering nonsense.

I am aware you didn't make a point of him being a terrorist...you called him "a failure of the care in the community regime" and I disagreed with you which seems to have pissed you off.
As for the rest of your post I do not agree about your immigration and wages view. I work in a special needs school with very damaged kids who are violent to themselves and others. I have been spat at, kicked, punched and verbally abused on a daily basis. 4 weeks ago I had my arm broken in work and will be in a cast for at least another 5 weeks. I am considered very good at my my job and am rarely off sick (I had 1 day off when I broke my arm) yet am only paid £250 a week take home pay. This has sod all to do with immigrants but everything to do with public s3rvice workers being treated like **** by the Government. I have paid into my pension for over 23 years and it worth less than 3k a year and I will have to work until I am 68 to get it cos of Government rule changes. Again, this has nothing get to do with immigrants but everything to do with a Government shafting the less well off while lowering taxes on big businesses and the richest in society. As I said in my earlier post I am unimpressed by both sets of arguments.
It must be good to feel like you have a definite answer to this issue (I ain't taking the piss) but I don't feel like that is my reality.

 

The economists are convinced Brexit will lead to economic meltdown. Job losses, inflation, higher mortgage rates etc. They are paid to analyse, inform and be impartial.

Why would anyone vote for that unless they don't need to work, have no mortgage and have loads of cash in the bank that would benefit from higher interest rates?

Not all are claiming that. Even the IMF have revised their predictions over the last few days, suggesting a minor downturn, rather than the apocalypse some are trying to paint.

The cuts in public services are more liable to get worse if we remain.

A fair few that I've read, but others don't see the vote as a single issue subject.

 

It's categorically not a single issue subject, I've been stressing that from the start as some people constantly revert back to immigration as it's their only reason for wanting out.

That said, a ****ed economy is the single issue that effects almost everyone (apart from the likes of Boris and Nigel).

Please can you post a few links that cover how Brexit will boost the economy. Not taking the piss, I've genuinely not seen any positive commentary by an official or respected authority.

if that takes a hit, we wont be able to afford much security. After that **** storm what we did in iraq with george W, Im sure that a few home grown jihadis will be waiting to take full advantage.

 

If you're interested, just google for something along the lines of "positive economic benefits to brexit" I've drawn my view from a bundle of sources, posting one or two will simply drag the discussion to those.

Having read a few, I reckon there will be a slight down turn initially, but not the long running and deep collapse some are espousing. Even the remain campaign costs it at about £700 for each of us. For me, that's a reasonable price to maintain democracy.

Turn it round, as the remain figures are most likely worse case, would you sell your right to have a vote on who makes the rules for £700?
