This is correct and that's what I was trying to address by pointing out that its pathetic that a few Brexiters on here who have ran out of debate are now trying to make out as though they are on the wind up. Then something happened and you decided to pipe up like a **** on the rag.

What holes? You can clearly see how the markets react to even the hint of Brexit. The actual fact will bring about the crash I have mentioned.

    It's not just opinion!

    Gosh, you're so outrageous.

You've shown your level if wit and wummery, perhaps you could apply yourself to replies on the subject of the EU vote, so people could possibly think you're more than just a pillock?

Describing it as a crash, and ignoring the real possibility that the same could apply to an in vote means it is just opinion. Markets react to uncertainty. A close vote to remain could generate a lot of issues, and could also cause other countries to consider their position in the EU.

Us being in, when other big players pull out, would leave us in a far worse economic position.

    This ^

As much as the brexiters want to talk about immigration and the abstract concept of 'getting our country back'. It all comes down to the economy, and everything else flows from that, whether we like it or not. The economy permeates every aspect of politics as it is basically politics, managing the flow of resources. Every authority on the economy from the Institute of fiscal studies, to the World bank, to the Bank of England to independent think tanks all predict that the economy will take a hammering. So much so, that the £8bn we'd save not paying into the EU would be offset by £20bn-£40bn loss to our economy. To me it's utter madness to leave the EU on this point alone.

It's quite a claim, given Cameron's just said he has plans at the ready to deal with the consequences of an out vote. Other key figures have disputed the doom and gloom, and the depth and length of any fluctuations. They also point out that an independent Britain is better placed to handle it.

Being in when France or others pull out, now that would be a cause for economic concern.

A close vote, which its liable to be, will undoubtedly send a shot across the bows of those in Brussels - assuming it's a vote to remain.

The pound will crash, I've no doubt of that. The consequences of such a sharp fall will inevitably bring about some of the things I have mentioned.

Other countries will not leave, certainly not as things are. IF, there is a concerted push towards federalism, then yes, I think there will be a revolt in that direction.

I would vote to leave rather than see a federal state. But, we are fine as we are.
