No it's not. Anyone who has an EU passport has free access to the UK. I wouldn't vote leave because of it, but free movement of Labour is a key EU principle.

But they are all predictions....(and here is where my tinfoil hat goes on)
and if you think that British businesses have been given back handers by Cameron to speak out in favour of staying......

    Same with Obama.....the hypocrite.

Not only that, most of these companies will be benefitting from the cheap labour and zero hours contracts they can hand out or the use of agencies.

saying that though i'm not totally against having unskilled labourers in... the general feeling is they work harder than us...

They are intrinsically linked to the EU as is their economy. Due to agreements drawn up over 30 years.

We'd be starting from scratch, and there's little appetite from the likes of France and Germany to make the drawing up of trade agreements with the UK a painless process for us.

Do you think they'd not also encourage the numerous EU country owned businesses that have manufacturing bases in the UK to consider uprooting to a member state?

It'd be an economic ****ing disaster, and one of our own making. All so some jingoists could wave the union jack and think of the great days of the Empire and bone head bigots could stop talking about Johnny Foreigner taking our jobs and benefits.

Yes that's worked well for the last 6 years hasn't it? Because our epically saavy population follows the right wing Main Stream Media line [ie the Sun, Times, Telegraph, Spectator, Mail, Metro, Express, Channel 5, Sky News, BBC News] and believed that the Tories would decrease immigration (it increased), not privatise the NHS (they've underfunded it to such an extent it is at breaking point, and seen the biggest privatisation of the NHS in history), and improve the economy (overseen the worst and longest recovery from a recession since records began while losing our AAA credit rating and seeing the cost of living sky rocket).

We can vote them out, as we can vote out our MEPs. However we have another 4 years to go until the next general election with no guarantee that we will get rid of the Tories then, or that we'd get a better party in instead (you never know we might get Nigel Farage in!!!). But even that is missing the point totally, the point is that you'd lose the current protection of our Human Rights, Workers Rights, Minimum Pay, H&S Standards, Leave entitlements, protection against things like discrimination ect that we currently enjoy, and instead enable any serving government to do away with any and all of those rights on a whim. (very likely to happen very quickly based on the promised of the current government - never mind waiting 4 years to vote them out!).

We can vote out our current useless UKIP MEPs - you know the ones who vote against British interests and cost the tax payer loads in expenses, but we can't do it until there's an election...

Anyway, I hope you all vote Labour in the next election.
I don't agree with half of Corbyns policies (Re privatisation, leaving NATO), but I damn well believe he has the UK's best interests at heart, unlike these toff ****ing self serving crooks we have in power at the moment.

My other worry is that the UK copies Scotland, and that if we stay in, the 40% odd percent who voted to leave will all vote UKIP at the next election (ala Scotland with the SNP when they stayed in the UK).......I really cannot stand Farage or UKIP.

Read it again, they're not predictions at all.

They're the stats based on answers given by British industry to question about how they felt the EU has either helped or hindered their business.

The CBI has 190,000 members, so that's some back hander <laugh>

Not to let ****ing morons like that get into government, saying that, he wouldn't be able to pass most of his bills, because congress would shaft him.

So you wouldn't trust a Corbyn led Labour government to keep these ideals?

Corbyn will never be elected by the Home Counties set who decide the fate of virtually every election, so it's a moot point.

You've also swerved his point I note....

His point is that he doesnt trust UK government to keep to these ideals.
I think if thats the case, then we need to do something about that.
That says more about the UK than it does about the EU.

What I also find annoying is that a lot of the people moaning about Camerons government probably didnt even ****ing vote.
(not saying thats the case with anyone on here).
But a lot of millenials and progressive minded youth, are not voting. Thats something we also need to remedy

No mate, his point was that the Tories have scant regard for the workers rights etc that have resulted from the EU legislation he mentioned, and they'd have never made the statute book in this country, and post an exit would likely be over turned.

Thanks to the redefining of the boundaries and our cock eyed electoral system it wouldn't have mattered if most of them did.

As the Tories only gained 6% more of the vote than Labour but gained 43% more seats in Parliament.

Free movement as an eu citizen is different from open borders. You still need a passport and border checks to enter to the uk.
