I think the first part of your sentence about says it all, clueless!.

Not just immigration - EU and Non EU, but the effects on the economy and many other issues.

So, yeah, clueless sums it up. What's even more scary is that these ****wits are allowed to help decide your future and mine!....

TBF it's also a damning indictment of the poor quality of campaigning. Played right into the Brexit hands in fairness, but there was far too much hyperbole and very little information or meaningful debate. There are far too many thick ****ers out there like those I've quoted and the Remain campaign should have accounted for that.

The more I think of it, the more likely it seems that were sufficient EU politniks
who wanted the UK out at worst, or were meh at best.
They already know what happens when you let the "people" have referenda
on matters EU, regardless of the nation.

And they couldn't have been so stupid to think that :

    - Camerons' "peace in our time" proclamation on their concessions was going to
    bought by the UK electorate.

    - any signals from the pro-EU UK politniks that a remain win was long in the bag
    was ever true.

You'll get the call a few weeks after Boris has been elected and he's officially closed down the North East.

So many variables there tbf. Did they really believe UK would leave? Secondly, for many it really wouldn't have mattered what concessions were given, they would've voted out regardless. Most are admitting that now anyway, it was some irrational, more emotional reason.

He's going to open a mass concentration camp there to house the immigrants from the Calais Jungle who have been pushed through the Chunnel by the French.

It's uncanny just how much Boris and Nigel are actually like Lou and Andy.
    Literally and metaphorically

I suspect at least 5% of the electorate that voted leave did so rationally,
and seeing thru the concessions was another straw on their rational backs.
