I haven't done that at all. I've gone out of my way to say I wasn't talking about what you think, but instead about those people for who immigration was the issue.

OK DMD, fair enough you don't know them and you can't answer for them, that's reasonable, I can't either. Look, I'd rather have a sensible debate with you then get into any pissing contest. I accept the decision of the majority. I'm not posting this stuff to have a pop at you or anyone who voted out. That argument was for before the referendum, and it's done. FWIW I hope I'm wrong, I hope the Out campaigners are spot on with their optimism - I'd rather the country succeed because this is about ALL our livelihoods and future. I genuinely would prefer to be proved completely wrong about my concerns. People's lives matter. I just want an honest debate on what will happen now. And there are plenty of "Out" ppl on here like AFCFW, Bobby and even the Geordie chap who are doing that. It just came across that you would rather stonewall a topic of discussion because you didn't like the question beiing asked.

If I'm asking, whether people who voted Out under the belief that immigration would go down (or that we would have more money spent on the NHS), will feel pissed off if they don't get that - it isn't to bash them over the head with a stick, it's because I want to know if they would change their opinion that the "problems" they were concerned about are bigger and not necessarily associated with the EU and that perhaps they voted Out on a misconception. And if those "problems" are bigger, and as such can't (or won't) be overcome by a change of government either, then thay particular case for voting out was a misdirection?

She can stir all she likes, there's no way she will go for a referendum prior to seeing how the negotiations with the EU are shaping up so even if she could get a vote through the Scottish Parliament, which she won't, she will wait longer than that to actually go for the vote. The tories also won't allow a referendum during the negotiation process and so soon after another referendum.

Why is it inevitable? What arguments will be made by the SNP which they didn't make last time? "We've been taken out of the EU!...grr! But have no guarantee of getting back in on our own... Oh and our economic plan from last time doesn't work this time around because the price of oil tanked... And yes the rest of the U.K. Probably will negotiate access to the common market and guarantee our current eu funding..but let's leave anyway!" Even if they get a referendum they won't win.

What part of everything else other than that one fact goes against them getting a referendum, or winning a referendum do you not get?

I think it's a mistake to think that we're going to have any impact on the EU. The idea it will crumble is a bit far fetched. If anything, they'll have even more power in a concentrated manner over the remaining 27 countries. I wouldn't be surprised if a select few countries in the EU become stronger!

Nope, some of them are saying **** off now, but don't have the authority to push it without back up. Others are prepared to wait.

They're panicking because they can see several other countries considering ****ing them off too.

    We'll see on Monday.

But yes, it will take a certain amount of time to completely separate.

It's the sentiment that's disturbing. I don't expect this to be a clean divorce. There are powerful voices who want to see us punished. Not least, Juncker!..

To be fair they have no control over when we initiate negotiations and our government has already given a clear indication of when they can expect it to happen. The noises out of the EU so far are all about doing a reasonable deal with the U.K.
