Custard, this has only just started. The repercussions will come over time. It's not all going to happen the first day.

Also, to explain. Some people have made a lot of money if they were short of Sterling going into this. When they buy the contracts back, of course it will rise slightly. All they do then is wait for it to rise a bit more, then short it again....it's got a way to go yet!...

When I saw Idiotocracy - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0387808/ I enjoyed the film, but I never realised it was a documentary about our not too distant future!

I am seriously waiting for Boris and Trump to announce that we should be putting Gatorade on our crops 'because it's better than water'

Unfortunately, Al, Boris is a prize turkey and will probably survive the 'Christmas' he helped create!...

It's the ordinary, everyday turkeys that are in for an early Xmas...

    Might, not will.

While I supported and voted to stay in what you've said throughout this thread to be facts aren't, they are speculation.

We don't really know how this will pan out. It's not ideal but I'm pretty sure we, as a country and government, can ride the storm.
The world hasn't ended for **** sake.

I think things will be up and down for a bit and then go back to an even keel. I'm spending three weeks in France this summer, I'm gutted that will now cost **** loads more but positive about the ultimate outcome.

I'll also state this, Boris Johnson won't be PM. Will he ****. I also think this will end in a general election.

As for the Scots , I don't really ****ing care what they do if I'm absolutely honest.

And whilst currencies have taken a bit of a battering today, the FTSE is higher than it was on Monday.

The left leaned too far. You provoked the wrath of the right wing.

People are expecting this to all happen overnight. It doesn't work like that. The effects will be felt over the coming weeks and months.

I still have no doubts that the UK economy will suffer and contract. How long that lasts will depend on how long it takes to sort this mess out...
