    Can`t understand why Redknapp or Glasgow Rangers didn`t sign Carrupt - he would have suited them perfectly.

    Just watched highlights of game on Player. We had enough chances to have scored eight. Team looked lively, especially impressed with youngsters...looking good for future. Sharpie was...sharp and took his goals well. Jay had a slight flexor problem and de Ridder was hamstring, but both expected back soon. Adkins said they were expecting a few signings and the team was aware of this. Bet that keeps them on their toes.

    Just watched the highlights the younguns look amazing, shaw has got quality acceleration and a cracking weaker foot. Ward-Prowse seemed to feature in every highlight, and chambers assist for Sharps 3rd was brilliant. The other side had 1 highlight in the 2nd half after stephens came on which is a very good sign and he himself nearly got on the end of a header.

    Blimey, every single goals was well worked and well taken. These younger lads are scaring me how good they are, it certainly appears we are going into a golden generation of youngsters. Long may it continue.

    3 things struck me 1. the youngsters all look physically big and strong. 2 punch gave his all and work well for the team. 3. three days after the game, my arse still clenched when the ball went near forecast
