Not suggesting any comparison with the Parejo loan, it was tongue in cheek lads. Can't see it happening but would be ecstatic if we pulled this off.
Surely we have to be playing a 4231 or 433 if we sign him? The last thing we need is another attacking midfielder even if he is great. This just proves to me Hughes is stumbling from one week to the next with no clear plan. There was zero reason to sign Hoilett (who has been lazy and awful) if we sign Granero.
Come on flyer Hoillett was our brightest player against Swansea but admittedly faded as the game went on. If was a pleasure to watch a winger taking players on and beating them!
He flattered to deceive, reminded me of a lazy SWP. Always looked like hed do something but never did.
Apparently it says Granero has signed a five year deal with QPR
Tomás Roncero | 29/08/2012 Esteban Granero is being transferred to Queen's Park Rangers in the Premier League. Real Madrid midfielder will fly tomorrow to London to undergo a medical, closing a five-year contract and then be presented with the jersey of his new team. The youth did not have to Jose Mourinho and wanted to enjoy more minutes in a competitive league. So has accepted the offer of Tony Fernandes, owner of QPR Malaysian billionaire who wants to turn in a few years the club in an entity similar to Manchester City. A Barn seduces him much the project but, above all, the fact that he has had he will be the leader. Julio Cesar, Inter Milan, is one of the signings made. One of the most important keys in the transfer of the player Barn is the contract ended June 30, 2013 and that Mourinho had left out of the squad in the first game this season. Moreover, this was one of the last chances for Real Madrid to raise cash.
Many many reports saying that Granero will be at QPR tomorrow, great news. Im still unsure that M'bia will sign however..
No, he's not: I saw him outside the South Africa Road stand at about 7:30 pm before the Walsall game (in his civvies). He seemed to be heading for the players' car park. Must have left his ***s in the car....
