Thankfully, City won’t have the chance to stew for long on the disastrous performance that was served up yesterday against Reading. The Terriers haven’t won a league fixture since February, got dumped out of the league cup last week by a minnow and have already binned their inexperienced German manager - however, given what I’ve seen of a City so far I wouldn’t be entirely certain of 3 points
Well if we don't win this one we're in the deep you know what. Surely there has to be a response on Wednesday so I'm going for a 2-0 Bluebirds win with Glatzel getting off the mark if he gets some service from those around him.
Hello Mr Sheep sir. It's a strange thing that football fans have this idea that what they predict can influence outcomes. So on that basis, I'm going for some reverse psychology ( though I fear I may be accurate) as follows: Cardiff City 1 Huddersfield Town 3 Gratzel for us. As always, much obliged.
With 2 dire away performances we need to make the CCS a fortress. Some radical team selection on Warnock's part is needed to start getting away results. Alas, you can't teach an old dog new tricks... Will go fora bluebirds win, but my head says a draw. Bluebirds 2 - 1 Udders. Vassel
I'm following Clingo's logic, having previously predicted City wins for our 2 defeats I need to re-balance things by predicting a loss. City 1 - 2 Udders. I'll go for Murphy again but if he's inexplicable left out again then Gratzel please Mr Sheep. Thank eee sire.
We've just got to win this or the skids will be under "the top 6 at least" ambitions of the club. Can't see Warnock having a sea change in his tactical policy, but FFS we're at home against a club that's only got one point and can be opened up. Got to be a City win, but by how much? I'll go for 3-0 turnaround from that dreadful scoreline and game at Reading, with Ralls getting one of them.
Thought we would have a press conference from Warnock this morning with updates on injuries. No sign of that on WoL so a bit of smoke and mirrors going on. Mark Hudson in charge for them as caretaker. Not sure if that is much of a benefit against us as only Ralls remains from his time here. Another ex-Bluebird may play for them after Fraizer Campbell signed from Hull at the end of the window. Hope he's not always scoring goals tonight. 1.0 to us in a scrappy, edgy game. Glatzel to notch. If he doesn't soon he's in danger of becoming another Madine/Niasse/Johnson etc.
Ahh Eddie Johnson... so much effort for so little reward (okay okay, little quality too). Really chuffed I was there when he finally scored (Preston at home from memory).
