The perfect start following the resumption of football for City with very impressive wins over the Weeds and playoof rivals Preston. Now in theory what looks like an easier game but Chartlon have also returned from the break with two wins (over QPR and Hull) meaning that this perhaps not as straight forward as the Addicks lowly league position may suggest - they restarted in the drop zone.

Joe Ralls scores in a 2-1 home win
In form Charlton have narrowly beaten two bottom 1/2 clubs since the lockdown was lifted whilst we have handsomely beaten two top 6 clubs in the same period
draw it is then :emoticon-0127-lipss
nah .....stick to 2-1

Looking at their possession stats from the last 2 games, Charlton play a similar style to us. Sit back, soak up pressure and hit on the break. Average possession 35% and two 1.0 wins.

Our possession improved substantially at Preston and we played better football for it. Especially in the second half where we kicked on.

I'm sure Harris will ensure our lads don't get too cocky and concede space at the back.

I will be happy with a 1.0 win with Morro to notch.

Going to plump for a 1-0 victory for the Bluebirds.

Am thinking Glatzel may start for City so think (as do many others) his hot streak will continue (only at CCFC can scoring 2 games on the bounce be classed as a hot streak for a striker!!!).

Well I guess since we seem to win in front of nobody I'll go for another 2-0 with NML to score.
Gonna be tough though with Charlton hitting some form again.
Thanks Mr Sheep

Getting nervous now. Don't think I've seen anyone predict a defeat yet (possibly not even a draw prediction either)...

Justified belief, overconfidence or just blind faith???

I think they'll sit back and come for the point in the hope they can pinch a win - a bit like us away in the recent past.

Think (hope?) we'll break them down early and they'll have to come out, leave themselves exposed and we'll slot 2 more.....<whistle>

So it's a City 3 - 0 Charlton result for me with Tommo getting a goal.
