But he's a foreigner. he might talk funny and like weird food! What about the team spirit? Looks a bit lightweight for the championship, we'd be better off with a lumbering giant like Zigic....

Actually looks ok from those clips, doesn't hang around, goals from all angles and distances, and looks a bit of a character. No risk for 3 months. Probably not prolific, wonder if we will switch back to 4-4-2.......

Actually (although it's not OUR first team) the answer is Raheem Sterling.

To be honest I don't care what his history is. He's signed now and I'll support him.

The talksport "South American football expert" just spoke of him briefly: Bit of a wild-child, who should've achieved a lot more. He had all the tools to succeed- very pacey, 2 footed, 'booming' right foot. He finished by saying "there's still a lot of talent there and it'll be interesting to see how it pans out"

He's 5 months older than bobby and 4 inches shorter, with a completely different style of play. So not sure about that!

Very underwhelmed and disappointed with this signing.

I was hoping for a younger, very pacey forward who could compliment Charlie Austin by pulling defenders all over the place.

I hope Chevanton proves me wrong however, and good luck to him. No real risk with a 3 month loan deal.

Zamora is a broken down shell of himself. Some players go like him or Owen, others carry on as if age doesn't affect them.

Most just lose a bit of pace and slowly get worse. He can't be too bad if we've looked at him for months.

This. It does seem the club has learnt what a pis ear it made of some previous contracts. That is a pretty big positive.

Used to be good, definitely knows where the goal is. Pretty sure United were sniffing round him at one point in his Lecce days.

No idea how he performs now though, will be interesting to see. Not getting any younger mind you!

Welcome javier chevanton & hope it works out & don't go upsetting the dressing room please as we have a good group of players at present who at last are playing as & for the team, look forward to seeing him play & if he's half as good as suarez i'll take him.
