Erding off?

Spot on there, although it may not be a bad thing. Sometimes you just have to take a chance and hope for the best. As a random call (and going off what a few friends have said to me) a Jay Rodriguez type may be worth a punt, not as a first choice maybe, but he's a young lad with a good deal of potential and we are sadly lacking that up top at the minute.

 

What makes you think that either of them would want to join us, at this time?

We are not particularly good payers any more, which was - lets be honest - is why most of our higher profile signings came, in the past.

As for Rondon, doesn't he play for Malaga, who now have Qatar megabucks behind them and are making some big signings? Best of luck in persuading him to come to the North East, for at best mid-table mediocity, and at worst a relegation battle!

Suddenly Shane Long is looking like a good signing. Or will we bring back ol' Oochie Kuqi for another spell?

So long as we don't end up going for Carlton Cole. I'd rather go with what we've got than bring him on board.
