If we're playing with Ba up front though we could do with getting balls into the box though. If the Erding deal happens though it sounds like a great plan

He is rumored to prefer to return to his homeland with a move to Galatasary

Do you guys rate Erding then? Some of you seem to be mighty chuffed about potentially getting him.

I personally don't think his goalscoring record is up to much, but he might have the attributes to succeed in the EPL. Just because he's moving to a higher quality league, it doesn't mean he's going to perform worse. Some people just slot right in to this sort of play. Then again, he might not.

He isn't someone that you immediately think wow what a signing he is, but he has the potential to be a great partner for Ba.

    He'll sign for Galatasaray.

And we'll find someone free instead. Or someone with a shockingly low release clause.

    I agree 100% with that.

I still can't understand why we signed Shearer if he wasn't good enough for Blackburn, and as for Man Utd signing that donkey Ronaldo, it just beggars belief.

Don't be put off by this lads, Leandro and Gameiro are two of the best strikers in League 1 and PSG have loads of money now after being bought by some guys from Qatar. So they'll have big ambitions for this season.
I hope you don't all think Erdinc is going to be some top striker, as you'll all be pretty disappointed I'm afraid...
Hopefully Pardew notices he's a better winger as I think he could do a job there as his finishing is pretty poor.

I think it's his play making ability that we are looking at, we say we need a striker to score goals but if we can link our attacking midfield with a striker who can hold to ball up like Erding, well be scoring goals from all over the park...

He's exactly the same type of player as Gameiro, only Gameiro knows how to find the net on his own more often, which is why he was our primary target!

Really think we are looking at the main focus being midfielders scoring the majority of goals making runs, with the odd through ball and set piece for Ba
