Aspas played in an unfamiliar number 10 role against Swansea.

Put him out on the wing and he'll do better. He was poor against Man Utd but it was a derby and not an easy match to perform him.

He linked up well against Stoke and does show signs of forging a good partnership with those around him.

This is the best thing about the squad now - we have many options. Some better than others but players need to be on their A game if they want to be in the starting line. Serious competition has been lacking in our team for a while.

Would much rather see Alberto get a start at number 10 instead of Allen...

Joe Allen in for Coutinho. A lot of people, including me have suggested it. I know Allen is the new Downing, but I cant actually tell who is joking and who is being serious.

If only we had bought a very talented and very affordable Danish attacking midfielder to give competition to and replace Coutinho while injured.

Yeah this, or bring Henderson in for the role, with Aspas out wide.

I have high hopes for Allen.

He started his career with us bright enough. Cout hasn't had the best season as far as providing yet... but have you notice how he is being marked like crazy... every game so far hes Been the target of stray boots kicking at him.

The rivals know he is a threat and have to adapt to him.

Cout over Allen... but I have faith in Allen still.
