Great win yesterday and 3 sublime goals from the boys, but I just watched Negredo score the most fantastic goal live for Valencia to equalise on the hour against Rayo Vallecano in the Spanish Primavera. Easily the best goal I've seen for years.

He challenged on the half way line for a long ball sent forward by his defence. He took the ball of their centreback, swiveled and in one movement smashed a left foot shot from just in their half over their keeper who was off his line standing on their penalty spot - he knew exactly where their keeper was and exploited it.

Unbelievable technique and awareness of the situation - if it's shown somewhere on the media, have a look - bloody fantastic (and I've got £10 on Neville's side to win at 15/8 after they'd gone 1-0 down - only one more goal needed now Gary.....)

EDIT - Bollucks - Rayo Vallecano just scored again.

Ah well, a 2-2 draw in the end so no cigar on that one.

Javi Guerra wasn't playing today for Rayo Vallecano for some reason (injury?), but he's scored 9 in 17 starts so far - that's not a bad return for a side currently in the bottom 3 of their league.

Dunno Bluey, but Negredo knew exactly where he was with his back to him before he turned and hit the ball - otherwise he wouldn't have bothered from that distance.
