    Fair point.

Either way Enrique is twice as good as Maxwell.

No, he really isn't, he's just been playing in a much better team. Jose is a top quality LB and would fit in well at Barca.

Oh god. Just cos he plays for a better team doesn't make him better. If I said Carrick was better than Modric, you'd laugh. But because there's a much greater gulf in class between us and Barca, Enrique can't be as good as Maxwell. Trust me, Enrique is far better. In the EPL last season, I'd say only Baines was better than him.

First of all, it's Talksport, so it's always ****.

Secondly, left back is their weakest position imo, Enrique the best spanish left back around, young and nearing the end of his contract... you're right, can't see why they'd want him...

Little guy called Ashley Cole, I know who he plays for, but he's the best LB in PL by a long way

We'll see, and as you say, Talksport is **** so maybe they're not interested in the first place :D

I've always thought he was ****e, but when i watched a couple of your games this season i thought he played quite well.

Also, Enrique is Spain's best left back, they just don't know it yet. Good going forward, excellent passer/crosser (loves playing it out of defence), excellent at defending in the hustle and bustle of the prem (he'd destroy spanish wingers), deceptively quick too (can outpace lennon as i recall). Unfortunately he's mates with Villa who will probably also know this and put in a good word for him.

Enrique is better than Maxwell. Abidal probably has one season left and Enrique could be eased in. Maxwell will never be anything more than a bit part player. Abidal has been quantity the last couple of seasons.

Not last season. Ineffective for most of it, but people just assume he had a good season cos he's regularly good. Last season only Baines was better.

Agree to disagree I think, but agreed on Baines being very good last season, it's a shame Ashley Cole is around, as he'd be a shoe in for England

Maybe, didn't think of it like that, if he's understudy for a season, he could bed in I suppose. Has he got the technical ability to wear a Barcalona shirt week in week out?

Brilliant long passer and his understanding with spanish speaking players is top notch. He has some skill as well, but sometimes his short passing can be sloppy.

Short passing is Barcelona. They like to apss it around, and make short bursting runs. They don't tend to abng up and down the wings with full backs. Danny Alves does come up, but not that often. They prefer to have people like Pedro further up, to stretch the defence. I guess he could provide overlap/cover for when they do this though

Nice video. Opinion of him improved somewhat, find me a vid of him doing that to the likes of Utd, and we'll buy him?

Not as good as the other one, but he has his moments and doesn't lack confidence! But hands off! ;)
