    Really? So I was naive last season because we signed Ben Arfa then?

    I'm not pessimistic haha. I'm not even blindly Anti-Ashley. I just think if we're going for players like those we're linked with we have no chance of getting them.

    My brother's a priest and whilst the Lord may strike him down for this, he told me in strictest confidence that every Talksport presenter had been to confession admitting to telling lies about pending transfers, to which he administered 5 Hail Mary's to each of them on the condition that they, under oath promise to atone for their sins against the footballing community.

    Interestingly Keith Arthur wasn't there, now I find that fishy.
