I don't think we will end up in a relegation battle but there is no reason that it is laughable. We are not winning, not looking sharp in front of goal and not looking tight at the back.
Which TB is a recipe for disaster but we all know what will happen, MM will play for a point every game and hope to nick the odd one, more dull/boring football to be served up!!
On a side note, if Rotherham win tonight we will only be 4 points of relegation zone, not that i expect them to win but if they do......
" Nobody said the championship i just said he has been in relegation battles and to say its laughable is a rediculous statement " Well we're a championship club right now - he's been involved in premier league relegation battles at Sunderland and Wolves sure - not saying otherwise, but for the comment to even be brought up I find hilarious. At this level, he's not once apart from when taking over us from bottom of the pile, into a midtable outfit after inheriting an absolute mess from Jewell, been involved in a relegation battle and make no mistake we're not going to be involved in one this season IMO. That said, form HAS to improve and sharply. We've played over 20% of the season now, we're 6 off the drop, 5 off the play offs. We're going to find out a hell of a lot more these next four games. For what it's worth, IF we are winless after these four games, then by all means call for the managers head. I cannot defend 10 without a win at all and would seriously consider my position then. However, like I always try to do, I think with my head as opposed to heart and logically I think by hook / crook or however you want to look at it we'll pick up some points and hopefully the season will look better. I do however find some of Mick's decisions, this season in particular strange. Again, some people were having fits about Skuse/ Tabb/ Anderson when we lost 1 game in 19 which I found beyond ridiculous frankly but we were getting results. This season, we have a far better squad and I have to say so far with someone else incharge with this season, we'd have more points on the board and would have played better footy. 100%. I think we'd probably have 5-8 points more. THAT SAID, who built this squad? Mick. So that's a closing point for me. I'm behind Mick, looking forward to going tomorrow and as always when I go I'll post the game how I see it. COYB!
I guess its all down to the individual, some are happy with dull, boring hoofball, as long as it keeps us in this god forsaken division. Others want a bit more flair, skill, ambition and nothing but progress each season until we reach the promised land. I cant see how fans can accept a manager who sets out 'not to lose' every game, rather than to try and win every game, this would have worked when the old points system was in use but not these days. Why is it that most games we change it around to combat our opponants, why not attack teams and let them worry about us? How can people back a manager that says ' the more the fans chant for a player thr less chance there us of me putting him on' sorry but that is bloody childish and pathetic!! Attendances are falling, people are getting fed up with the whole package and something has to change, hopefully ME is already looking for replacements behind the scenes!!
Frustrated with how the season has fallen away from us. Being this far in without a regular first 11 - a trait that has been successful for us in the past - is worrying. Strikers not scoring, ineffective midfield, leaky defence are all characteristics of a poor side. However, our poorest run under MM still leaves us equal/higher in the table than the best seasons under Keane or Jewell. The line up today looks to be a lot better. At time of writing we are 1 up, performance as reported by final score isn't fantastic but MM teams are built first and foremost on a strong defence. If today serves us three points then I'm not overly bothered how it comes about. ... Bugger ... (Equaliser)

" Likewise I'd love a bit more Spanish but there's no way Mick is going to take us down so I stand by the premise of that being absolutely hilarious at best. Much better yesterday, lets hope that continues.
I think it's a mixture of both to be honest. We have more workers than quality players but they certainly could play better football
