NO NO NO NO NO NO NO......................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If DMc goes we need someone who has done it all, seen it all and wears the T-Shirt. Someone who will really sort out the dross within our ranks. I still cannot understand why DMc is so loyal to massive underperformers like Fonts and Elliott and even that bloody Aussie.
I think my quote on the Louis situation, was not me suggesting it for from it. Just looking at past decisions from the board it would surprise me. Given the choice I know who I would go for and that's the mad Italian just up the M4
" Sorry AD, didn't mean to call you or anyone else an idiot" Apology excepted, would just like you to know Onefor, Gianfranco Zola was my all time favorite foreign player, you know the saying, "all good things come in little packages" in his case, it should read, "all great things".
I assume you mean Wales football ROD? As for Zola, he is benefitting from the new Watford owners who also own Udinese, bringing in loads of loan signings from Udinese. Money no object it seems. BCFC behaving about FFP just like they did when all seating stadia became obligatory. We spent our transfer pot on the Atyeo stand and got relegated. While Sunderland and Derby spent three or four years at their old stadiums spending it all on players and used delaying tactics until their new stadiums were built. So they got promotion to the Prem while we were back in Div 3.
Yep Cidered I mean Wales, we always seem to have either a good strike force with nothing behind or the other way round. The old thing that we have nearly a full 11 just never the squad. But as the rugby boys will show in the 6 nations we are on a blip but we will be back, the dragon will be bellowing fire into our teams again. Nothing better than the Millenium in full voice, if anyone wants to experience a fantastic occasion get over to Cardiff on international day, fans mingling with each other.
Seems like most on here have already sacked Del and are seeking his replacement however last time I looked, he was still the manager of this club. Don't go for it I am afraid, just as NO ONE could **** up Barcelona, Del can't get less than average players to play better than that level for anything more than a short time. You can't have it both ways. When you are on a losing run, the first thing you do is set out not to concede, hence 5 in midfield. Worked against Boro, was respectable in defeat against Brighton but got sussed by Wolves and looked terrible. The problem is and always has been to a degree our defence but the more cupable element by far is our midfield who with the exception of Albert, do not have the drive, intelligence, desire or ability to actually run forward, with the ball and attack the opposition defence. This paralyses the attack who are starved of supply and doesn't help the defence who resort to lumping it You call it excuses but what it actually is, is an inability of certain players to play effective football - this is not an excuse, it is a fact...
Prem. 'Del can't get less than average players' - Not having it. McInnes has been here 12 months and they're HIS players now - But the silly bu**er has made it much worse with his Hokey Cokey selection policy. 'The problem is and always has been to a degree our defence but the more cupable element by far is our midfield' - Sorry, It's both our defence and midfield that are 'culpable' as is the main man - McInnes. He bought strikers instead of what you and every other fan has known where we're lacking - CHs and CM. Takes some believing doesn't it.
RP I would like to invite you to read my thread on here entitled 'Sliver Linings' And maybe have a rethink about what is important and try... thinking outside the box
