We nicked a 16 yr old off Leeds 4 years ago - a lad called Luke Garbutt. He's now played for England at every level from U16 to U20 & is currently on loan at Colchester. Great things expected of him & with Oviedo showing that he's more than capable of playing the PL, we've got decent cover now.
Thought we had the with Jack Robinson but he fell off a bit. Mclaughlin looks like he could be the next one from the academy ( RB) and you have Wisdom on loan and he looks more than capable of playing either side as well. Merseyside could have the future RB/LB pairings for the English national team............ that the US will stomp out.
i think oviedo looks good right now. the challenge is sustaining it for more than a few games. if he can..... well baines is getting older and if he wants to go.... could be good for everton its safe to say that we draw a big line under the spurs result now and move on to cardiff
tobes is maybe right about us on transfers..... we need ross barkley! a powerhouse. we should go in for mata and see about chavski madness. if we could convince him... well.... if they are stupid enough...
