Agreed. I cheered. Very proud to have been the major part of his rise. If he'd left on bad terms maybe not so much but after his heartfelt letter I can't help but have an eternal soft spot for him.
Lampard's been a passenger again. He's basically on the plane to take a penalty isn't he. Oxlade-Chamberlain's been excellent though.
Not quite the same, but I still love him. Liverpool have had nothing to do with him, so he is an honorary Saints player for me.
Fingers crossed and even though he has gone he will always be a "Saint's Legend". That's something the scousers can never buy.
I celebrated Rickie's goal, but already I sense an element of old-times-sake. It just doesn't have that same exhilarating vibe. It's just so god-damn disappointing in the end. Best wishes to him though,
