You have to look at the position of the goalkeeper though. De Gea for example would have saved most of those goals, as his positional play is a lot better. Hart is always starting in the wrong position, so when the balls are played through into a 1 on 1 situation he's not in the right position to apply pressure to the attacker. Wayne Hennessy has had even worse clowns infront of him, but he's had a lot more success, he's actually faced a lot more 1 on 1s yet has done a lot better than Hart at stopping them.
he has a 7 man defence in front of him, in fact he's had a big defence put in front of him ever since he conceded 9 goals against Leicester and MK dons. I would add that most West Ham fans don't see Hart as our best keeper at all and can't understand why he dropped him over Randolph, it's a bit of a bone of contention and one of the reasons the fans are turning against him.
If Butland had avoided the long injury spell, he'd already be England's number one in my eyes, think he's a superb keeper. Pickford is looking better and better though, wouldn't surprise me if he's the number one sooner rather than later.
A 7 man defence? 10 goals Man Utd have scored this season, more than any other team so far. De Gea just so you know has saved 5 of 5 shots at his goal.
