For me it's a decent result for FIFA rankings so all in all the more england get rests the higher we are ranked the better seedlings we get. Well we will see. It's been an easy campaign but come the summer of 16 the team will still be tired, half prepared and beaten well by better outfits However I think qf at a euros is absolute minimum acceptable
Much like we do with youth football in this country, we go into the games with the attitude of 'win at all costs' rather than doing what is best for us irrelevant of the result. We've done it for years. We we do play other players that aren't regular first team players, we play far too many that doesn't give those individuals a fair crack of the whip. It should two at the most, let them experience international football alongside the first choice players giving the best platform to perform and show what they can do. Stick them in a second string and they'll struggle because the whole team is weaker.
