I wouldn't even have taken Milner, never mind play him out of position.

I'm sorry, but Milner at right back is ridiculous.

Of the squad picked my starting team would be

    Hart

    Johnson
    Cahill
    Jones
    Shaw

    Barkley
    Gerrard
    Henderson

    Rooney
    Sturridge
    Sterling

He'll start Baines ahead of Shaw.

Anyone who saw Johnson get shredded by Bolassie and then Ince surely wouldnt have him anywhere near an England defence. He couldnt work out how to jockey a left footed player after having Bolassie a right footed player running at him.

Yes, but it's like playing Steven Gerrard up front.

We've got better options in those areas. Playing Milner at RB would be a stupid idea and we'd just be shooting ourselves in the feet.

I'll be mighty hacked off if England run out for that first game and Lallana isn't in the XI.

Milner's playing his best football at the moment, trouble is if he turns up with his usual brand of ****e then the games will be agony to watch as usual. Think most neutrals are agreed that Smalling/Jones are there because of their club and there are quite a few pussies in the media not going to call Hodgson out on it as they will be banking on interviews in a month or so, I noticed Gary Lineker in particular kissing his arse on Twitter.

Do you not think that has something to do with the manager's style?

Agreed, which means if we see him in an England shirt then expect the usual, unless Hodgson hits his head on the bench in a friendly and goes for attacking football in Brazil

Stones is far better than Jones in any case so I hope Kamikaze stays injured for all our sakes. Anybody leaving out Barkley and Lailana from their starting XI needs their head examined.
