I'm debating that, drinking on payday is always dangerous though. Probably depends on if I'm working or not.
https://www.football365.com/news/kane-lingard-and-southgate-credit-englands-striker-coach Above article is about England's specialist strikers' coach, Alan Russell. There was a bit on Sky Sports about him...he runs an agency teaching strikers how to score...notably from corners and free kicks. The players have been praising him and the improvement in dead ball situations is obvious.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...tball-career-fly-family-World-Cup-Russia.html Danny Rose said yesterday that he wouldn't recommend football as a career to children because of what happens at clubs. And he banned his family from going to Russia because of a fear of racism...though he has been pleasantly surprised by the friendliness there. He has admitted to suffering from depression...whether this has been caused by his experiences or has coloured his views of what has happened to him is unclear. However, very sad to hear.
With Southgate on this...play to win. Keep the winning mentality. And everyone keeps talking about where we will meet Brazil....one, you've got to get there first; two, Brazil may lose to another team. Can only play one game at a time...we could get into the 'correct' side of the draw and lose to Switzerland.
Southgate said to be making 8 changes...bit strange after all he's said. Suppose he wants to give everyone a chance. Disappointing for viewers though.
I would disagree with 8 changes, it's way too many for me and risks losing all momentum. But in Gareth I trust, come on England! We're on our way!
Silly. Making history, getting that winning feeling along with some continuity & he goes and changes eight positions. Was starting to like the G-man. That is daft.
We should make 12 changes. We're gonna accidentally win 2-1. Or alternatively a last minute Sterling dive to take us to 2nd on yellow cards. (The difference between 1st and 2nd is pretty small now that Germany are gone. But I just like the chaos/stupid factor)
