Did you watch Belgium earlier, they weren’t the best. Lacked a bit of team play and it came down to odd moments of magic.

    We will thump Panama.

To be fair, I haven't seen any of the big sides defend particularly well.

Didn’t book a single Tunisian player. Walker’s yellow was the only one of the match, and that was incorrect! Absolutely abysmal refereeing.

Rashford to start for Stirling and Loftus-Cheek for Alli or Lingard.

Maguire was good in the end. Thought he was poor 1st half.

The defence is a major concern, which is why I think we just need to play a la Keegan. All out attack and if they score three we score four etc.

I would like to see an angle showing the ref’s position and where he was looking, for our two penalty shouts.

He was pretty much right in line with no obstructions for the first one.

Doesn't matter now, he won't ref England again in the group stages and Collina isn't stupid. He won't make the cut for the knockout stages.

Need to score when we are on top....constant refrain in football. Cannot overestimate how important winning the first game is...you can still qualify with a draw, but it leaves you open to misfortune. And whilst I'm not suggesting that we will win the cup, I am hopeful of a good performance under Southgate.

If I can briefly talk about football, two similar set piece goals. A lot of games have been decided like that so far (mainly penalties I guess), so that could be a theme of the tournament, nice that England have maybe thought about it a bit.

Happy with that. We can’t be relentless throughout the game and I think we under estimated the heat.

Alli looked good in the first, then disappeared in the second? Supposedly a slight injury.

Sterling got in good positions, but did little.

    Lingard missed a hatful.

The only 2 changes I would like to see; Rashford in for Sterling, Rose in for Youngs.

Best I’ve seen England at a major tournament since 98.
