Wouldn't take Kane off. Might be worth putting Vardy in, to get someone else in position to finish those balls through the box.

 

The game might get stretched late on, he may be able to get in behind them.

 

Only if it's 0-0 with 15 to go would I bring him on. He won't take Kane off and therefore he will change our shape and I really don't want that to happen.

 

While I agree with you about GSTQ being a dirge, why would we replace it with ANOTHER British anthem? Jerusalem for me...at least that's about England (and has a rather good tune).

 

Really impressive first half, hopefully we can keep that going all match. Slightly concerned that if Rooney is put under some pressure he'll give it away cheaply in a dangerous position, but so far they're giving him enough space. Going forward this is all very encouraging

 

Great box to box, but we seriously lack composure in both boxes.

Hopefully a decent chance falls to Kane, because he is the only one who looks like he could put it away.

Some very good positions and opportunities going to waste.
Perhaps we need to shin one into the corner, like our neighbours did earlier.

Yes - exactly. I worry about our suspect defence. Hope that the Russians run out of steam in the 2nd half instead of catching us on the break. Can't see Wales not scoring against them

If we have not scored by the 70th minute - I would give him a run out because his pace will trouble them so much and he will chase everything down like our Shane

 

God Save The Queen is the British anthem....should be Jerusalem for England. A beautiful moving song that can still be sung by ordinary people. Don't want an anthem that strains the vocal chords like the American one.
