Well, that was a couple of hours of my life I'm not going to get back. I'm getting too old to waste my time watching such crap.
It's like a car crash on the other side of the road. You know every time you drive past one, you shouldn't slow down and look and just carry on your journey but you can't help have a peak only to realise after you've seen nothing and was a waste of time.
F'n ahole left Gerard on for 90..... Why beg carrick to come to England's rescue then No way should the old man play 90 here.... Obviously cleverly is just that good eh
All they ask Sturridge is how he feels about playing out wide... so he gives an answer and he asks the same question again, and then asks about Sterling. Top interview
agree with Chris Waddle BBC Sport's Chris Waddle at Wembley England 1-0 Denmark Adam Lallana On the performance of Adam Lallana: "I would try and find a place in the team for him. He gets space, he makes space, he can see a pass, he can go inside and outside of players and he can score a goal himself. "He has energy, he can see a pass and he is ideal for international football."
front three of studge, sterling and lallana maybe chamberlain from the right. Rooney should at the most be on the bench.
I think we could have a decent world cup if the England manager could possibly, maybe, just a little bit LEARN FROM YOUR MISTAKES. please try something new, not just the same old ****e, time after time. I'm still waiting for somebody to ask if stevie and lampard can play together for England.
I was talking about the chances of Woy dropping Rooney, not questioning what you said. I agree with you Edit:or by "your" do you mean Woy?
I meant Woy, or to be more accurate all the England managers we have had since maybe venables. Its always the same players picked regardless of formation, tactics or opposition. It does my head in and is probably the main reason for the decline of interest in the national team. I don't believe you make mistakes G.
I like Lallana but also really rate the Ox too. I reckon I'd go with: Sturridge Sterling - Lallana - The Ox Henderson - Gerrard © Shaw - Cahill - Jags - Flanno Hart I put Flanno purely because I don't want Johnson or Walker there and can't think of anyone else. Maybe Clyne?
Spot on in my eyes, but unfortunately absolutely no ****ing chance like you said though. Woy will have Rooney in there and probably Wiltshire too. Most import though i would be amazed if he dosnt play 4-4-2. It comes to something when you watch internationals with the hope and burning desire that none of your players get injured, but the result dosnt really matter.
I have to say tonight brought back horrible memories of Roy's time here. Clueless selections, horrible performances and then putting a positive spin at the post match conference whilst attempting to reduce expectations: , Apparently it was "a very dominant performance against a very well organised and compact Danish team." listen http://www.bbc.co.uk/5live He is on another planet.
This! England have no style of play other than defensive, we are not counter attacking, not possession based, not even hit and hope long ball stuff. We have had a succession of managers that have had no tactics other than trying not to lose. I decided many years ago that i will not watch England again until we get a manager in thats actually got a game plan of how he wants england to play, to take advantage of the PL high paced counter attacking style, I don't expect my wait to come to an end anytime soon!
I agree. We have no pressing as a team either , we look like what we are. A team of individuals cobbled together by an out of date manager. We don't have a world class player like Bale or Ronaldo who can carry a team of mediocre players. Hodgson, like his predecessors will always pick players like Rooney and Wilshire because they are over hyped in the press. Rooney, tonight, looked lethargic and uninterested(again) and Wilshire just does the same old thing of running into blind alleys and loosing the ball (he's also made o glass) I also agree that we looked far better when lallana came on, he does give us something different. Sturridge needs to play down the middle where he can run off the last defender as he does for us. Sterling played very well and I would also like to see the Ox in the team. Not sure about Henderson but don't see too many alternatives. I am convinced we will not qualify from our WC group, where not finishing bottom will be an acheivement. This will be the first WC where I have absolutely no expectation of England doing well. That's sad really isn't it.
