What point? So one goal against Denmark proves Sturridge is a better striker than Rooney, are you for real?
My point was that you play him up front instead of a wing then he scores. Which is exactly what happened
I think we saw last night how the Liverpool lads need some CL experience to help them at international level
Ah, good. We can now put 'injured' alongside him instead of 'dropped' on your super match day thread. (although I suppose you've got to be playing in the first place to be dropped, perhaps 'inactive' is a better word)
Sturridge has scored in almost every game this season he's played in. He scores more regularly than Suarez.
Rooney looked as red as an ale house centre half on a Sunday morning, last night. If Hodgson is intent on playing that system in the WC (God forbid) then Rooney hasn't got a place in the side imo. His record in major tournaments (his debut EC aside) has been mince anyway. He shouldn't be considered an automatic pick for the starting XI imo, albeit those who are saying he shouldn't be in the squad, should take up knitting ffs.
CL experience. Can you point out what England have won since Terry/Cole and Lampard 'experienced' their one and only CL win with Chelsea? Their combined CL experience has not benefitted England at all.
He was pure ****e bow. Absolutely terrible. Nothung good about his performance. Even townsend had to make up some bullshit reason for giving him it... He worked hard.... So? Shaw was tge best player by a mile.
Really think shaw can become the best in the world in his position. The team who gets him will be very lucky
