Hodgson inspires no passion. Even before the game when asked about Bale's comment about the Welsh having more passion than the English he just said 'Well, I don't know'. **** off, soft ****.
If he'd put Vardy out wide everyone would moan. If he'd not picked Kane, the other top scorer, everyone would moan. He can't win. We don't have many good wingers, so Sterling is the best we've got. Perhaps we shouldn't play a system that doesn't involve them. But it's daft to make out it's as simple as just picking the team the fans want, since their demands are so inconsistent. Why though?
And get Vardy on for Sterling. The guy got 24 Premier League goals, won the league and runs teams ragged for 90 mins. If he runs teams ragged for 45 mins it'll be better than anything Sterling's contributed in this tournament so far.
I have never rated Hodgson. He's a footballing dinosaur. His ideas are from the dark ages. At least an early exit will see all the hooligan element sent home early.
The hand ball was debatable. The two handed push in Alli's back was nailed on, if it had been the other way round, in the defender back, it would have been a free kick every time.
Managers make themselves look ****s when they do this! 2 players on to try & get goals! Have them on from the beginning silly twat!
