Apparently there was a chant going around the ground yesterday along the lines of: We're England & Wales, We're England & Wales, F**k Russia, We're England & Wales.......
I see the Welsh left back Neil Taylor has called England's win a "freak result". He said they should have had a point and lost to two freak goals, describing Sturridge's brilliant finish as a "toe-poke". After England's total dominance and completely out-classing Wales, how on earth can he come out with that? Some of them just can't help themselves eh?
I have both Welsh and Irish blood but I am English. I will always support all of our home nations unless of course they are playing against us. I even married a Scotts man who strangely supports England at Football unless against the Scots of course. We out played the Welsh yesterday, sorry Beth for 90 minutes, they had one great strike at goal by undoubtably the best player in Europe at the minute. But he can't carry the whole team. They parked the bus for long periods of the game, not good football. I heard chants when we where 1-0 down of 'England's Going Home! ' Good chant from the Welsh at the time. Fortunately we live to fight another day. Let's both qualify, still possible! Really enjoying this tournament, apart from the violence of course.
