Thanks like your logic Germany and Arsenal it is. Contentment and and happiness coming up for me. Uber Alles. (extra bonus always win penalty shootouts). And up the Gunners-I love French players! I will sleep tonight. See guys its as easy as that, abandon your previous loyalties, cut the strings, stop pretending and shed no more tears--aaahhh! Wait a minute not so sure I want the Germans to beat the USA (oh bugar I am already vacillating as the loyalty strings play their sweet melodies).
I'm about to hit the hay and suggest you do likewise. Not with me, obviously. If this drags until 4 in the morning I dread to think what ****e you'll have posted. Get yourself away man.
I read Suarez has been critical of his time in England and thats why he is so happy, talk about biting the hand that feeds him. Or the player that tackles him. I wish these numpties on the thread would take their handbags somewhere else too mate
You're respected poster, I meant no harm, I admit I did some 'jokes' but you ben, n plt , triple HHH are my masters, so I'll leave it now plt, ben, carmine and HHH dictate me
Michael Ballack thought the issue was teamwork. He said you had the players necessary to perform well but that they lacked the teamwork to enable your forward players to get the chances to win you the games.
I think it's more complex than that. This issue of not being able to create against a packed defence seems to affect a lot of English club sides as well as the national team. We really struggle to break teams down. It's about composure, moving the ball constantly and probing for gaps. Pace out wide helps. Urgency but not desperation is required. We seem to struggle to find that balance.
we need to get back to basics and pass to each other more. Frustrate teams by not letting them have possession. Playing Hoofball just doesn't cut it.
I put you on my IGNORE list long ago since your posts were so illiterate, obscene, and generally disgusting. I can't imagine why anyone on here would be interested in reading them as you never have anything intelligent to say. Yes I'd say you're not wanted on here until you clean up your act.
Back to the thread title, England are defensively inept. The present back four would struggle in the Championship. Strikers on mega bucks that can't hit the target. England are at present a second rate team and Costa Rica will prove it.
Population isn't the be-all and end-all. 3 out of the top 4 most populated countries aren't even in the World Cup and the one that is there (USA) isn't likely to win.
I don't think we played as bad as everyone makes out, individual defensive errors cost us at this World Cup. Cahill's poor marking for the Balotelli goal and Jagielka failing to track Suarez's run last night, not to mention Gerrard's piss-poor header that led to the winner. Johnson was dire again, he's alright going forward but he just can't defend, and he's a defender! Richards was England's best right-back at one point, his injuries have been a massive loss. We needed Terry pairing with Cahill at this World Cup as well.
I wasn't saying that it is, just that population alone is not enough. You also need to have the interest, the right infrastructure and coaching, the right balance between club and country, and so on. There are so many things wrong with the game in this country right now that it's difficult to know where to start.
