    I will say, fair play to Wayne Rooney. You can only score at what's in front of you, and he's done it more often than any other Englishman.

    Now he needs to do it when it matters. When he does that, I will probably hold him in much higher regard.

    He does try as they all do. We have qualified for the Euro's unbeaten all wins. Admit we need to do it on the big stage. Just take it for what it is. 50 goals for his country. I will leave it there.

    Of course they're all in there. Just don't mention the absence of France, Germany, Italy and Spain, Europe's four football superpowers.

    I'm not knocking Rooney here, btw - just pointing out some of the bollocks they spout.
