Good player is Smalling. He's one of those popular to criticise amongst football hipsters who don't really understand the game, just like Cleverley.
That's SCB-worthy detective work. On another note, I see Romeo Beckham is England's mascot tonight. Nice to see the FA taking seriously their responsibility as the custodian of the grassroots game and giving a special night to a young lad who doesn't have many other opportunities in life.
We're not the only ones without our own national anthem - Northern Ireland play God Save the Queen too.
Singing you can stick your more guns per head of population than the USA, cuckoo clock manufacturing, mainly mountainous but with several large urban conabations, banking is the cornerstone of their economy, horn playing, cow bell rattling, everyone learns to ski from an early age, bastards up your arse.
On another note, I like Shelvey and think he's a good player but he looks out of his depth in this game. Delph, Milner, Barkley and the Ox look comfortable in midfield, as do players like Henderson and Carrick. Dunno, even when Lampard and Gerrard played we still lacked something. If Scholes had played as a central midfielder for as long as Gerrard and Lampard did internationally, we would've been a much, much better national team.
