Dilshan still going and not remotely like getting out, glad to be rid of Sanga but now Jayawardenene is in! And seriously I wish we would STOP bowling so many damn extras! Our bowling hasn't been great to say the least full tosses, spears down the leg side and so many bloody byes! Our 3 tall bowlers plan doesn't seem to be working because none seem to have their radar today!
Lunch to be taken at 1230pm. Can't see anything other then a draw now, but just about everybody would've said the same about the first test.
Can't see England collapsing bearing in mind by the time Sri Lanka have a lead worth bowling at we'll be part way into the fifth day, that's assuming there isn't any more rain, I'm just annoyed that slogger Dilshan nearly got 200...
Still a bit wet and dingy around these parts, so I wouldn't be suprised if they were called off for bad light/rain later. The sun is starting to poke through a bit though.
Strauss not having a good series with the bat so far...still if he comes good against India then all good
Don't think they need such a lead to be honest, with slogger Dilshan not batting Sri Lanka will be doing well to get near 300.
That was pretty funny. He and Strauss went down to the members section to apologise for showering them with glass.
A thrilling draw. What can we take from this test: Finn to keep his place or bring Anderson back if fit. Would Bresnan be a better choice? Should we drop Morgan for Bresnan? Should we drop Morgan for Bopara? Has Pietersen turned a corner?
Test cricket at its finest. As stated after the last game, England only win when the other team collapses. You can argue that England forced the collapse, but anyone who has played the game knows the difference between a team collapsing and a team being bowled out!
perhaps for the next test bring back anderson for finn...and if fit bring in Bresnan for Broad...let Broad have a bash around the county game to get his line and length up to a good standard for the impending India tests
