2 wickets or 12 runs? Gotta back South Africa whilst they still have Steyn in...

Morkel's average is 10, Tahir has never batted in ODIs. Come on Bresnan!

We need to not let Steyn get on strike

Wow. Any tailenders should be able to hit 8 just by taking singles. But then 1 good delivery could finish this!

YES! A brilliant bowling performance in the end! Imagine how good we'd be if our bowlers AND batsmen would both turn up at once. England should not go through, but heck we should anyone as we have single handedly revived the ODI format with 4 very exciting, very close games!

Forget the flat tracks when the game is played on a wicket which gives bowlers a chance the game of cricket is so much better

Clearly Strauss decided that bowling all his good bowlers would make the game too boring, so put Pietersen and Yardy on for a long time, before letting Bresnan and Broad take the final wickets.

In all seriousness, it seems like great captaincy, putting his best bowlers on as the pressure really built in the final few overs. What a game.

Ravi MoM? Sure his runs where very useful, but Broad deserves it for me.

What a classic game of cricket.

I don't think Yardy should have played today, the wicket had no runs in it. He is a potent run choker in high scoring matches, he can slow a team down, just enough, for them to start taking risks. I have seen him do that for Sussex, time after time. But today was not for him.

We got lucky today, India would have killed us on that surface!

Suddenly, results - wise, England are doing OK in this World Cup. Having played India, South Africa, Ireland and Netherlands, I think most England supporters, and players, would take 2 wins, a tie and a loss. It's just who those results have come against that's the surprise. And the fact that we haven't put together a performance where we bat and bowl well.

Well we now have 5 points, which is 1 more than I expected [wins against Ireland & Netherlands and defeats against India & South Africa]

If you are a neutral then England's games are the ones you want to watch, as all four up to now have gone to the wire.
