He is lacking confidence after last season so they want to help Man Utd out. Moyes was also a pundit.
More bumming of Man Utd from ITV. Now the pundits are discussing Man Utd players and how they might play in their first PL game.
Cleverley played really I thought and that ball was class. If he could learn how to finish he will be very good.
We must be missing something I thought Cleverley played well; plenty of energy, didn't give the ball away, made good runs, got into good positions, tracked back and pressed the opposition. All things we praise Henderson for!
Welbeck is like Milner 2 years ago and Phil Neville before that. Every fan questions why he is in the team and what he offers but they keep getting picked by managers. Turned out to be a good game, shame Lambert missed a sitter from 6 yards out though Johnson didn't play so should be fresh for Saturday and Gerrard got a bit of a rest, although playing in that deep midfield role didn't get forward much so shouldn't be too tired.
Just been talking to a manc mate, he totally agreed that Welbeck isn't good enough for England and added that he is a good bench player at Man Utd but nothing more. He's even had a bet with his dad (who loves Danny) about how many goals he'll score, his dad reckons he'll get fifteen this season Problem is, I also think it speaks volumes about the state of English forwards at the minute. Who else is there beyond Sturridge, Carroll, Defoe, Crouch, Lambert? The latter three are all the wrong side of thirty and Ricky is a bit of a fairy tale because we had injury problems! Of course, if we're going to play 433 then it doesn't have to be a forward. That means others such as the Ox, A.Johnson, Lennon, Sterling (bit early), etc could play instead.
I wasn't arsed about the match. Chiles is a ****ing ****. Why was the new manc manager AND an ex-manc hacker on the panel? That's not ****ing right is it?
Because he is Scottish, been there before and they could quiz him on their number one topic...Rooney!
