I hope that is the line up! With Rose at LB, I'll let Lingard off for his average performance as it was his first major tournament appearance for the national side although I think he would be if Alli was fit, Henderson I'd have switched out but I did say I didn't think he'd be dropped.

Nor should he be. You're on your own with that one.

You speak for everyone do you, funnily enough a lot of my mates (I do have some I swear!!!) fully agree unless you've been talking them round???

Looks as though 2 possibly 3 (Rose for Young) of my 5 suggestions were agreed with by England management so I can't be that far off.

Bear in mind I coach for a decent set up down south (League 1 club - youth level), run my own FA affiliated club on the side and go to matches from the EPL-Conference level (or step 12 of the English football pyramid if you include my own club) - I think I know what I'm talking about. Entitled to your opinion though but don't try and dissuade me from mine :emoticon-0148-yes:

Also it would seem to suggest that my offering of Rose for Young, RLC for Alli if he isn't fit, represents 2 out 3 for my suggestions. So I clearly know more about professional football than you. You've wasted your time with that coaching badge mate. I just use my eyes.

A double winning season, not losing a game in normal time (lost one of the 2 cups on pens) and the fact I'm working my way up the pyramid would suggest otherwise.

Remind me of your qualifications and experience in football...

Keep your wummery up mate its a good laugh :emoticon-0136-giggl

I agree with G4rd because Pouchy is on the other side <cool>

Also, Henderson is kinda ****, and tedious, can you imagine being his wife and tring to extract conversation from that plank of wood? Unfortunately they left a vastly superior player at home.

My contention is that Sterling has not, and will not improve as a football player, despite the collective zombiesque punditry lurching around their undergarments, grasping for brain and feeling for the one stub of useless flesh they must friction burn until the river runs stringy white, at the mere mention of "Pep Guardiola".

His composure and technique when striking the ball let him down at Liverpool, and are the areas England fans hoped he would improve as he got older. That has not changed! Yes, he has scored more goals and got more assists playing in a superior team this term, with players like David Silva, who effectively Patrick-Swayze-around-a-clay-turntable Sterling's chances into the net with him, and his best spell for Liverpool came at a time when you could pass to Suarez and sit back and pull out a deck chair.

I heard the pundits on Talkshite say he is our most naturally gifted player... He's fast, and has quick feet, that's all. As soon as he's 27, he'll have less ability than Wayne Routledge, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Lennon et al, essentially all the other players in the same mould.

That said, I expect us to dominate Panama if we play Phil Jones behind Cahill and Pope and Butland on the wings. It'll be turgid to watch as Panama will come to spoil the game, but we'll win.

Whatever happens I’ll always find it amusing that there’s just one person in the entire world thinks Walker is a CB, the irony being he’s the England manager.

I’d quite like a mid three of Henderson, Alli and RLC. And a front two of Kane and Rashford. Keep both Lingard and Sterling out.

It doesn't realistically matter who we play as CB against Panama or Tunisia, but it will be a strange gamble against the better teams. I see the wisdom in having a pacey player back there, and in effect accommodating both Trippier and Walker, because they are both really good, but I think Kyle will be targeted quite a bit.
