Absolutely. Reckon the papers knew a put this for years, but in true newspaper bullshit style, they wait until the biggest day of his career to try to destroy him.

not condoning what he did, but I did far far worse at his age and regret it there was (thankfully) no social media back then

Also, he looks the real deal. Broad as good as they are, won’t last forever. Although he’s 27 isn’t he!!

Frightening what British society is becoming. I also see Michael Carberry has piped up saying Robinson should’ve been suspended and cricket is racist blah blah blah, **** off man you clown. All this because a 17 year old wrote some admittedly poor tweets almost a decade ago.

So, what will happen to ME?

In 1963, aged 19 I was sent to Aden.
There were about 10,000 Service personel there and the (almost ) universal word for the Locals was the abrieviated, 'Western Oriental Gentleman'.
Fellow service personel, in The Orient, also had local names.

So should we all now be hung out to dry?

Surely there has to be a new law where (historical tweets from 10 years ago, when the perp is below a certain age, and from before that person had the responsibilities he/she has today) cannot be dredged and brought up from the depths of the internet and has the potential to completely ruin his life. If it is proven that he still has these views then he deserves all he gets. If it is proven that he doesnt and was just being a stupid immature tit, then just a slap on the wrist should suffice.
