I didn't bother watching the second half ,England are as boring as they ever was , I like Ali and urrrm ummmmmm errrrrr tbh I can't remember who's played recently hahaa totally uneventful . Seems we have a lot of lightweight players suited to play in the Arsenal squad.

I thought the match kicked off at 8 and totally missed watching it. I came on here to see what I might have missed. Nowt, apparently. 2-0 at home to Malta. Why is it obvious to even the densest of supporters that we're **** and in need of radical change when the FA, players and pundits seem stuck talking about where Rooney should play. It doesn't matter who the next manager is if they're going to pick the same players, so you might as well rule out all the usual candidates. I can't think of an English manager currently working at a senior level that I would have any faith in at national level - Bruce? Pardew? Little Eddie Howe? I harboured a glimmer of hope that Allardyce would be his own man but it took just one game to extinguish it. You might as well give the job to Nigel Pearson now for all the good it will do.

Roberto Mancini.
