... so 'Fat Sam' couldn't tell Wayne Rooney where to play.. and now 'Gormless Gareth' can't understand how the boos will help Wayne Rooney?

... I've got a revolutionary new idea that I might offer to the FA ... let's just play the best 11 in each position based on form whilst factoring preferred formation... if we'd done that yesterday Wayne would not have started...he could have been brought on later if the Mighty Malta were proving to be a tough nut .. but starting him did Rooney himself no favours and undermined the credibility of the new manager and the team itself... a very poor start to Southgate's tenure ...and the 'nutmeg' has just exacerbated the situation and turned it into a complete farce ...
