Though I don't take this as an insult (as it is clearly intended to be), for your information I have voted Tory last couple of elections ( but not always), my kids are privately educated (I wasn't) and I work in an aggressively profit oriented industry. I enjoy making and spending money, agree with a progressive taxation system but hate hand outs to the work shy. I also believe that stereotyping on the basis of nationality and long finished wars is both ignorant and not very funny, but it's not surprising as its ingrained. Basil Fawlty, Alf Garnett and Al Murray are very funny indeed, because they are satirizing the uptight, repressed English. 'Allo, 'Allo I'll give you is lowest common denominator funny accent comedy. On the same lines I won't jump to the conclusion that you are a old style Little Englander with a subscription to the Telegraph, and an addiction to exclamation marks in your posts (could be your PC key is stuck) and a blood pressure problem.
