I agree it's good cricket. Keep rotating so that the bowlers can't settle into a rhythm and have to keep changing the line to right and left hand batters - something else that should've been thought of beforehand earlier in the series

Cant remember an opening partnership like this were we have taken it to the opposition since Vaughan and Trescothick.

It's been a great start and I think that Burns will like batting with Hameed. With Sibley not even looking to score when he was batting I think Burns felt the pressure to get on with it which led to him nicking off all of the time. It feels like a much better balance with Hameed.

 

Burns gone for 61. Decent knock and an excellent opening partnership. Malan is up next.
